Dr. DiVincenzo brings over 30 combined years of successful, results-driven experience in business and psychology to her consulting work. She brings the following to her leadership development work:

Dr. DiVincenzo’s executive summary

Immediately prior to launching MindCuor, Dr. DiVincenzo was an independent consultant for businesses and institutions, and was an internal consultant in her role as managing director of Growth Opportunity Center, a non-profit mental health practice in Southampton, PA.  Her external consulting work has included leadership coaching, team-building, assessment for hiring or advancing individuals to leadership roles, trainings and workshops, input into program development, team communication, diversity awareness in institutions, and mediation and conflict resolution.   At Growth Opportunity Center, she led the agency’s strategic planning, developed a mindfulness program, consulted with universities on mental health programs and wellness, supervised interns and post-docs, and was involved in program development, compliance policies and procedures, and staff training, assessment, development and mediation. 

Before joining Growth Opportunity Center as managing director, Dr. DiVincenzo was on the faculty of the Professional Psychology Doctoral Program at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. A significant part of her role included outreach and coordination with other institutions to form partnerships, as well as overseeing training of pre-doctoral students and working with site supervisors. Dr. DiVincenzo taught a course on Supervision and Consultation and has presented didactic training sessions on I/O psychology. Dr. DiVincenzo formed and directed the College’s Community Mental Health/Training clinic, as well as the Pre-Doctoral Internship Consortium.  She was on the College’s Strategic Planning Steering Committee, and also played a significant role in the College’s Middle States Accreditation process. Due to Dr. DiVincenzo’s experience as a faculty member and professor, she is called on frequently to provide her consulting skills to higher education institutions, providing faculty development workshops, advice and counsel on diversity issues, leadership development training to graduate students and future healthcare professionals, mediation between faculty members, input into sexual violence education and training programs and into wellness programs for students, and mentoring.

Previously, Dr. DiVincenzo was a program director for an inpatient hospital, as well as a program coordinator for a non-profit mental health program for victims and witnesses of sexual abuse.

Prior to obtaining her doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr. DiVincenzo was Executive Vice President of a global marketing communications agency, where she assisted clients with strategic and business planning, oversaw and developed marketing communications and public relations programs, and trained and developed staff.  Before joining the agency, Dr. DiVincenzo held management positions in manufacturing organizations. 

Dr. DiVincenzo has been a speaker for many years.  Topics include mindfulness for business, psychologically healthy workplaces, diversity awareness, mentoring diverse students, bringing skillful communications to businesses, skillful communication in teams, mentoring students, leadership development and professional development.

Dr. DiVincenzo practices mindfulness daily, and teaches it to businesses and institutions.  She is a regular attendee at the Mindful Leadership Summit, which provides presentations from and “collaboration and alliances with non-profits, universities, global corporations, experts in neuroscience, organizational behavior and leadership development, mindfulness, and compassion…” (www.mindfulleader.org).  She has attended numerous workshops and trainings on leadership development, coaching, becoming a resilient leader, and on assessment methods/instruments for employee selection and development.  She is a longstanding member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and has served on numerous committees, including the Committee on Multiculturalism and the Psychology in Business Committee, where she served as chair.  

Dr. DiVincenzo is an experienced clinician who has worked with individuals, families/couples, and groups. She has experience in both performing and supervising students in psychological and diagnostic assessments, including with instruments that assess cognitive, and personality functioning. Apart from her work at MindCuor, she currently maintains a small individual psychotherapy practice working with adults, often integrating mindfulness into her sessions.
